About Happy Car Rental
Happy Car Rental was founded in 2020 in Budva, Montenegro. We operate a fleet of 30+ vehicles — from economy city cars to premium SUVs and minivans — available for daily rental across the Montenegrin coast and for transfers to both major airports.
Where We Operate
Our base is in Budva, the centre of Montenegro's Adriatic coast. We offer vehicle pickup and drop-off at Tivat Airport (TIV, 20 minutes from Budva) and Podgorica Airport (TGD, 45 minutes from Budva). Rental vehicles are permitted to cross into Croatia, Albania, Serbia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina — a Green Card insurance certificate is included in every rental.
Our Fleet
The fleet covers six categories: economy, compact, standard, family, SUV, and minivan. All vehicles are regularly serviced and less than five years old. Child seats, GPS, and additional driver options are available with every booking.
How We Work
Bookings are made online in minutes. You select dates, vehicle, and optional extras; we confirm by email. At pickup we verify your driving licence and ID, inspect the vehicle together, and hand you the keys — the whole process takes under 15 minutes. 24/7 roadside support is included throughout your rental.
Insurance Options
We offer three insurance packages:
- Basic — mandatory third-party liability, full excess on the driver, €500 deposit.
- Standard — excess reduced by 50%, €250 deposit.
- Premium — liability limited to 10%, €100 deposit.
All packages include a Green Card valid for Croatia, Albania, Serbia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
